Bridging the Worlds with 3,000 Physical MINTS

¥u-Gi-¥n‘s mission is to truly bridge Web2 to Web3 by involving traditional art collectors into our eco-system. Hence, one third of our supply is allocated to contemporary art collectors in Web2 who are interested in being more involved in the space. We’re seeing increasing mainstream demand and adoption of blockchain technology, not just in Japan, but across all of Asia as well. We have assembled a dedicated Web2 support team for handling and managing NFT assets for new buyers. We will also provide different options for physical items: high-quality prints, framing and size options. Offline sales of our NFTs will be priced starting at 1 ETH and more as the roadmap progresses. In order to continue innovating and move both ¥u-Gi-¥n and the whole Web3 space forward, we have designed and mapped out a comprehensive offline marketing plan for the sale of the remaining 3000 physical MINTs.

Connecting Physical Art with Digital Art

In the contemporary art scene, it becomes more and more popular to add NFTs to physical art in order to increase its value. This is the strategy we will improve and build upon. One of our main strengths is that we have access and resources to the highest level of 3DCG creativity that is on par with traditional contemporary art. Selling both items, physical and digital, together is going to attract more progressive traditional collectors.

For contemporary art collectors, 1ETH is considered inexpensive for a piece of artwork. We believe offline sales is the best way to promote and sell high-value art. It is extremely common for private investors and collectors to purchase art pieces to decorate their offices and homes. Our offline sales plan is to have exclusive social gatherings with 10-20 people per session, to sell a total of 2000-3000 units over 50 sessions.

Demand from the Contemporary Art World

The good news is, we already received a number of orders from contemporary galleries and collectors. Our team cannot wait to start publishing all the press releases and share the results of the physical mint sales.

We have decided to form a new partnership with COCO Gallery. COCO gallery is a well-known contemporary art gallery that actively provides collectors with works by progressive up-and-coming artists from around the world. In Japan, they have exhibition spaces in Kyoto, Omotesando, Nakameguro, and Ebisu. Overseas, they are actively holding exhibitions at contemporary art fairs and partner galleries in Amsterdam, Dubai, and Paris.

Another partnership that we have established is with EDGEoff KYOTO, a NFT art-specializing gallery in Kyoto, the capital of traditional culture in Japan. We will carry out the highest tier collaboration that transcends the boundaries of space-time within the digital art space.

Tomorrow, ¥u-Gi-¥n will be holding its first IRL event at Tennozu, a place that represents Asia and contemporary art. It is owned by Warehouse TERRADA, a partner of TNZ NFT DAO, an early supporter of ¥u-Gi-¥n. We will actively carry out regular initiatives such as contemporary art fairs and exhibitions at this site.
